Joshua Reeve - CEO

Josh is a protection and security specialist with over 15 years of experience in private security and law enforcement. Throughout his career he has been an active member of Specialist Groups within State and Federal Agencies. He has worked privately with some of the world’s highest-profile identities.

Throughout his career, he has benefitted from significant training and experience, which now sees him able to operate at any level in the security market.

Josh Founded Empire Protection in 2013, and now utilizes his extensive skills to enhance the capabilities of his carefully selected team. By governing projects with the latest methods and tactics, and with targeted operational training, clients of Empire Protection can be assured a service that far exceeds industry standards and expectations.

Josh is dedicated to hands-on management to support his staff; and to hosting a strong culture, which drives Empire Protection to be an Employer and Service Provider of choice.

Josh specializes in Personal Protection, Security Event Planning, Crisis Management and Risk Management.

Passionate about serving the community, Josh volunteers his time speaking at numerous not-for profit engagements, focusing on community safety.

Ryan Tindall - Chief of Operations and COO
 

Ryan’s extensive background in the Australian Army Special Forces and his diverse experience in security and leadership roles make him a valuable asset to Empire Protection. His 13 years of service in the Special Forces, including numerous active duty tours and specialized missions, have undoubtedly equipped him with a unique set of skills and expertise.

During his military career, Ryan achieved the rank of Non-Commissioned Officer and played a crucial role as a military instructor at the Special Forces Training School. This role involved delivering top-tier tactical training, contributing to the development of elite-level soldiers.

In his current position at Empire Protection, Ryan brings operational excellence to various aspects of the business. His dedication to continuous improvement is evident through his commitment to evaluating and evolving company methods, tactics, and staff training and selection models.

Ryan’s specialization in designing and delivering training, tactical planning, and operational deployment is a testament to his proficiency in the field of security and risk management. His passion for community service is also commendable, as seen through his volunteer work with the NSW Surf Life Saving Club, where he serves as a Senior Instructor, Patrol Vice Captain, and duty officer.

Furthermore, Ryan’s recognition as the Duty Officer of the year and his leadership in a significant surf rescue operation during the 2019 state flood emergency highlight his exceptional capabilities in high-pressure situations.

As an Ambassador for the Commando Welfare Trust and a trustee for the RSL Return Services Legal, Ryan continues to contribute to the welfare and support of fellow commandos and veterans. His dedication to raising awareness of the sacrifices made by his commando brothers and serving the community is evident in his multifaceted roles and achievements.

John - Director of National Operations Australia

John Wallin is a protection and security specialist with nearly 20 years of experience in Private Security Industry.

Throughout his career, he has benefitted from significant training and experience that now sees him able to operate at any level in the security market.

John joined Empire Protection as Director of National operations in 2022. With a wealth of diverse experience John’s skill set provides an additional dimension to the Military and Law Enforcement experience within Empire. John has a strong focus as an executive provider of elite security and protection services. The Empire brand has since expanded to include Empire Executive Protection globally. In his position as Director of National Operations he utilises his extensive skills and experience to enhance the capabilities of his carefully selected team. By governing projects with the latest methods and tactics, and with targeted operational training, clients of Empire Protection can be assured a service that far exceeds industry standards and expectations. Josh is dedicated to hands-on management to support his staff, and to hosting a strong culture which drives Empire Protection to be an employer and service provider of choice.

John specialises in Risk Assessment and Management, Close Personal Protection (including Executive Protection, Witness Protection, Protective Surveillance, Protection Driving, Celebrity/VIP Protection), Security Event Planning, Health and Safety, Emergency Management, Crisis Management and Security Advising.

Matt - Director of Defence Industry Security Governance Consulting
Matt has 20 years of experience across Security Risk, Intelligence, data analytics, fraud management and business continuity. 

Matt has spent the last 10 years creating bespoke software solutions for clients to solve complex security solutions that are not readily available on the market.

Matt is a proud ADF veteran with multiple deployments in warlike conditions, however it is his Corporate experience within a big 4 Bank and a Defence Industry prime, which has enabled him to assist clients with security risk governance and compliance in heavily regulated environments. 

In his spare time, Matt volunteers as a Surf Life Saver and is an aspiring scratch golfer.
Ryan - Regional Director South African

Ryan has a background that spans both military and private security sectors. Having served in the army, he gained valuable experience and training in various aspects of security and risk management. His military service likely exposed him to a range of security protocols, tactics, and strategies.

Transitioning into the private security industry, Ryan would have applied his military knowledge and skills to a civilian context. Private security often involves protecting individuals, properties, and assets, and his background in the army would have equipped him with a strong foundation in security practices.

Arron Kackman - Regional Manager - USA

Aaron is a dynamic protection and security specialist who served five years and United States Marine Corps working as both a parachute rigger, and a military police officer with tours to both Iraq and Afghanistan.

After getting out of the military, Aaron spent several years in the bail enforcement industry assisting the court system with apprehending fugitives and returning them back into the custody of the court/criminal justice system. After getting into the private security/executive protection industry, Aaron has spent a significant amount of time attending a variety of different training courses/classes to improve his knowledge and overall level of competence and capabilities.

Aaron is an extremely dedicated professional who has a passion for learning and constantly working to excel at providing the highest level of protection and customer service possible.

Rob Marsh - Regional Manager - South East Asia

Rob Marsh is an accomplished Security Specialist with an extensive career spanning over two decades, during which he has consistently delivered exceptional Security Services in High Risk Environments. With a strong emphasis on Operations in South East Asia, Mr. Marsh has honed his expertise in managing security risks and ensuring the safety of personnel and assets in one of the world’s most challenging and dynamic regions.
